"You can cry about it... As the semester is winding down (Three. Weeks. Left.), the work is picking up. This week at the museum I created the signs that will be present on the Bailey's Woods. (Just when I thought the Bailey's Woods Project was finished!) It was really exciting to think about how this will be seen people of all ages as these travel on this trail that is between the University Museum and the historic Rowan Oak. I also created posters to benefit the museum's #FREEFAMILYDAYS, a campaign that will be going on for the month of April in regards to the educational center's family days events.
With campaigns being more prevalent in my life than ever, check out this amazing organization Extra Table! This is a Mississippi-based nonprofit that is working to stop hunger by giving food banks and pantries the healthy food they need. They will be having a lot of fun yet beneficial events in the following months such a the Great Mississippi Food Fight. This event is directed towards the fans of Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Southern Miss or just Extra Tablers. Check out all the great work Extra Table does here and stay tuned for more updates from that! In other news, graduation is the air and while I may have another year left of school that doesn't mean I can't enjoy the season right? I have scheduled two photos shoots for next week, and I have a possible third shoot in the works! It's been amazing to talk to theses driven students and hear all about their plans for after college and know I, little ole me, get to document this precious moment in their lives. While there is seriously so much to do and I'm a little disappointed this weekend will be more working than relaxing, I am feeling so positive and excited for all my upcoming projects that are in the works!
