What is your photography style?
My style is definitely catered to each couple or individual but I love natural light, movement, and candids. I stay away from the idea of “Bright & Airy” or “Dark & Moody” in my imagery because I am here to capture you and your love, not something for Instagram aesthetic. You will receive a mix of both black and white classic images as well as bold and vivid color images. You will receive a posed images as well as candid shots. We will make it the best day ever!
How long can I book you for?
I currently offer three separate packages: six hours, eight hours, and ten hours. If you have questions on which time frame would best fit you, let's chat!
Do we need a second shooter or engagement session?
Something special about my session packages is both of these things are add on’s. Meaning if you don’t need them, you don’t have to book them! Although there’s benefits for both. (Weddings of 150+ guests require 2nd shooter). Ask me about my Pick Three Package to work with me throughout your wedding process for the most bang for your buck.
How do we pay you?
Currently I have my payment broken up into 3 payments but I am always flexible working with my couples. Retainer is due upon contract due date. Retainer is 50% of the total invoice. Upon this payment and contract signed the other two payments are 25% of the remaining invoice. 25% due three months prior to the wedding, 25% due the month of the wedding. Payment obviously can change due to timeline.
How many images will we receive? How will we receive them? Do we get all the images??
A typical 6-10 hour wedding sessions may receive anywhere between 150-300 of the very best, most important edited moments images. You will receive a digital album for download. I can also add these special moments to a USB if you provide it to me. Unfortunately you will not get all the images.
Can I give you an image list?
Kind of! One of the last steps for me before your big day is sending you a confirmation email prior to your wedding day. This confirmation email is filled with with a tentative schedules, suggested items, vendor list form, and and you guessed it... a must have image list! I ask you for your 5 MUST HAVE images. This way we get those images you scrolled through social media and gushed over as well as I can work with you, your love, and the natural environment and unique elements of your day!
What is your turnaround time?
Weddings imagery usually take 6 weeks. With the Expedited Edited Images add on you can receive your digital album 4 weeks.
Do you travel?
Yes please! Venues that are over 60 miles from Annapolis, MD will be charged $.55 per mile. Out of state is always a yes!! (If I'm available.)
Can you photoshop _____ out?
*Unpopular Opinion Alert* Yes. I. Can. My focus when studying in college was photoshop so THIS IS MY JAM. I will never want you to look a totally different person but I happily take on the challenge.
What about Watermark and Copy Right?
I love to give image usage to my clients. It's your faces and should be able to share and print as you please. I won't ever put a tacky (Sorry not sorry.) watermark across your face. With this in mind, I will always retain full copyright of my images, meaning I can share and post your beautiful faces.
Can I print through you?
Yes please! This support my little small biz and I keep relatively cheap to be competitive with my favs like Sam Club and CVS.
