On November 2nd, 2019, I closed my 2019 season with the Pastrana/Bacon Wedding. We often say "Like a fine wine, *blank* gets better with time." I truly feel this looking at this wedding day. Making a mark as my 15th wedding  I came in feeling energized and inspired, especially after getting to know Brittany and Alex. When Brittany emailed almost a year prior, she didn't know when but she described to me a vision of getting married under her family tree on her families' land, a place her late grandmother had lived as well. With this in mind as well as the fact Brittany and Alex's love story started long distance, I couldn't feel so excited and attached. Without fail of Brittany's superb follow through of events (Try to out do this teacher's field day, I dare you.) and love and support of Pastrana army, this wedding day was filled with so many beautifully, unique details. As I would share sneak peeks with family and friends they would respond "this wedding is SO you". I honestly couldn't agree more. I believe in wedding days that involve you being surrounded by your most precious people. Brittany and Alex had that and more, including his daughter being such a vild part of the memories. I believe in going against the trends and others' opinions, making the day yours. This happened SO many times during this day, but one moment that stands out to me is when Brittany surprised Alex walking down the isle to the Star Wars theme song. (Scroll to see that reaction!) I believe in celebrating your love, with your love with so much optimism for the future ahead. Brittany and Alex's love was so profound throughout this day it shines in these images.
