"God is up to something. There is a reason why you went through what you went through. Trust the process. He's got you." While finals week is just next week, this week was the true turning page of the semester. Completing my last BFA review before going into Forum (the semester before completing my thesis). These reviews are an opportunity to showcase my work throughout all of my studio classes, give a presentation on concepts I'm interested in, and what direction I am going towards my thesis show. This review was SO beneficial because I left feeling like I had an actual idea of what I want my photography to express to my reviewers. I also got some great advice from my professors and felt complete support.
It was also my last week interning at the University Museum. I was mostly editing work on the website and already created publicity until I got an assignment where I was basically given free reign but to depict the event "Learning to Sketch from Museum Masters". This was a really fun project and one of the true examples of why I loved working at the museum. I was always given creative freedom with professional input yet in a laid back environment that made me feel valued always. This is environment is what I am going to look for in future employers.
